MassArt look book photo shoot 2014

The Saturday after my Go Red Fashion show(3-22-14 so I'm a little late posting this.) I had a photo shoot with MassArt. This was their annual Photo shoot for their design students to get their work modeled and photographed.
I did this same photo shoot last year. Its a fun shoot and a great way to meet amazing artist and up and coming designers.

The day went something like this.
9:30am -call time for hair and makeup.
The hair look was a slicked back bun and the make-up was a very dark eye and very HD bronzing. Over all very dark look.  It was an HD Lighting photo shoot look. Not an everyday look or evening out in public look, strictly for the cameras look.

Once hair and make-up were done we went to a fitting area where the designers could try their clothes on us.. Kinda like a dress up doll. But I love trying on all their different projects and designs.
After we were dressed and approved, we lined up to get  photographed. The first two dresses I wore got photographed really quick, and I didn't get any pictures of them. Eventually, the line built up so I wasn't as rushed and I had time to take pictures of my last two dresses.
The first one was a mermaid inspired dress that was part of a collection.  This dress had numerous cut outs (which is very much on trend right now) and some lovely pearl detailing along with a unique paring of fabrics.

The last dress I wore was a faux leather, silk, quilted detailed dress that was just amazing.

And that was pretty much the day. I had such a fun time as I always do with the MassArt folks. And I'll be in their  annual fashion show in May. I'll give you a behind the seances look at that day too.
